Re: Ogbonna’s done his ACL
I'm not convinced we will be in for a CB in Jan, maybe only if a real bargain can be had. Why have Dawson and Diop if you can't trust them to cover the Og? And when Og does come back we are then overloaded with 5 first team CB's.

Re: Ogbonna’s done his ACL
Dawson is great in the air and can mark but I wouldn't want anyone running at him or want him trying to pass the ball.

Diop regularly seems to daydream and get lost under a high ball or generally lets the person he's marking get away from him. But I'd rather have someone run at him than at Dawson.

Ogbonna is so much better as a rounded footballer than either of his replacements

Get well soon Oggy, you are a colossal player and integral part of West Ham's defence. You and Zouma are a joy to watch playing together.

Back before Xmas apparently.

Great news.

Alwaysaniron

Was going to say VVD would be well advised to put in a transfer request and join this massive club.

Alwaysaniron 7:11 Tue Nov 9
Re: Ogbonna’s done his ACL
Does VVD want to come and play for a top 3 club?

Gutted for him, he's been superb.

Manuel, still bitter I see. Give up pal, you're beneath me.

Re: Ogbonna’s done his ACL
You can walk and even jog in a straight line on a ruptured acl. It's lateral movement that causes pain. It also might only be a sprain as opposed to a full rupture. Our medical staff have some explaining to do if it was the latter because he shouldn't have gone back out if there was laxity in the knee

Re: Ogbonna’s done his ACL
Apparently after his eye injury Oggy asked if he could continue in glasses but they said it was a contracts sport !

Far Cough 5:56 Tue Nov 9
Re: Ogbonna’s done his ACL
Didn't see Oggy show any discomfort from his knee while walking off from his eye injury, unless he slipped down the tunnel and ruptured his ACL that way?

RBshorty 5:50 Tue Nov 9
Re: Ogbonna’s done his ACL
Them Italian defenders are breed apart. Oggy will be back. Moyes always wanted Tarkowski. And rumour doing the rounds is Newcastle are interested. So we may get to see if the player wants to play European football or just interested in a cash grab.?

Injuries.
And so it begins.

oh bugger just seen Alese is playing for England U20's in Portugal on Thursday. Baptiste has 3 fixtures for the U19's in the next 2 weeks, triple bugger

Re: Ogbonna’s done his ACL
Gutted for Ognonna as this could of been his last full season. He's been class and got better with age.
Alese and Baptise will definitely get on the bench for Wolves now.
At least we have two weeks for the youngsters to train with the squad with no fixtures.
Moyes and co will have to look at defensive set ups.
I wouldn't like to see Diop along side Baptiste or Alese for their debuts,it's going have to be Zouma or Dawson.
The other option is Johnson to center back for the EL with Coufal coming in at RB.
My preference is for Alese,he's quite laid back so hope he can go up a gear for the EL.

Haha

I haven't watched MOTD for about 2 years

Lee Trundle 4:51 Tue Nov 9

I don't have time to watch Burnley after watching all that MOTD.

Eerie Descent 4:47 Tue Nov 9
Re: Ogbonna’s done his ACL
Schooled? You've just cut & paste stuff from a Burnley fan site, you sad cunt. You missed out several nuggets though, like the lad who thinks he'd improve Man Utd?

Our manager wanted to sign him for £30mill 18 months ago, so I was suggesting it could make sense now he'd be available for less than half that. I'm not that fussed though, as I don't spend as much time watching Burnley as you, so you'll know better than me. And the West Ham manager, apparently.

Lee Trundle 4:38 Tue Nov 9
Re: Ogbonna’s done his ACL
Calm down, Eerie. I know it's a bit difficult to take being schooled by a MOTD watcher, but these things happen.

Rock bottom Newcastle are looking at him for a reason, and the likes of Man City (2nd in the table) aren't.

Rossal 4:35 Tue Nov 9
Re: Ogbonna’s done his ACL
Milenkovic signed a new contract after the summer window so doubt thats a goer...

Tarkowski turned us down few years back because he didnt want to move down south didnt he? So fuck him, his form has dropped considerably from when he won a few England caps. There must be better out there, what about the Chalobah lad or Sarr at Chelsea on loan......or Nat Phillips at pool or Rob Holding at Arsenal i've always thought could be a player. Or looking at the Championship Lloyd Kelly been doing well at Bounremouth, left footed CB who can play LB too

Eerie Descent 4:31 Tue Nov 9
Re: Ogbonna’s done his ACL
I felt sad enough looking on there, let alone posting up all the positives.

Don't take it up with me though, Trunds. Take it up with the other 90% of their fans and the West Ham manager who has us joint 2nd in the Premier League, son.
